Kikaku Sushi Bar at The Blue Mountain Ontario
If there is zero star, I would give it instead of 1 star....who ever previously said its good, please, please, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee try some other better sushi restaurants. I would like to say its TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1st, its very EXPENSIVE!!! I know it is located in a resort and price should be expensive but for this kind of price, I would expect better food quality. There isn't much you can choose from on the menu. There were two people who walked in and looked at the menu and walked out. It just has nothing special that attract eaters and charged people a crazy price for T&T supermarket quality sushi. i can tell you T&T has better sushi than kikaku does too.
2nd, need to PAY for the tea!!! We asked for 2 tea and they gave us a tea pot and charge us $2.50 a pot. Its okie to charge people for tea but please give a higher quality of green tea. Some places charge customer per glass but they use high quality green tea bag.
3rd, waiting time is SUPER LONG!!! We waited around 45 min to an hour for just a bowl of veg udon and 24 pcs sushi. They have friendly staffs but the wait time was just way too long. I can make sushi faster them them even thought I don't know how to roll them.
4th, BAD QUALITY of food!!! We ordered a veg udon soup which I think it was worth more like $5 instead of $16. Let me tell you what was in the bowl. There were some shredded veg and udon and they charged us $16. It tasted horrible. It was too salty, felt like drinking/eating lots of MSG, and udon wasn't soft.
We also ordered 24pcs sushi &rolls. The raw fish were fresh but NOT AS FRESH as previous reviewer said. They were also very very very thin slices. Each piece was like 1/3 of the thickness compared to other sushi places. The rice for the sushi is hard. It is like they weren't cooked properly. Also on top of the not cooked properly rice, the skill of the sushi chef wasn't good because he squeezed the rice too hard for half of the sushi. There were 2 deep fried shrimp in the sushi roll, but i think those two shrimps are leftover from previous day because they were dry (VERY DRY) or just the person who deep fried the shrimps left them there for too long and over cooked them.
I would NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone..........

Aka Teppan
I saw people who ate at this place for the past few days, and I decided to try it out myself. Its somewhat like Korean stone pot. You have to mix your food well when it arrived or it will get very toasted and burned.
The plate was already came with corn, but we didn't know so we added a side order and you can see it in the pic. It is about 50 cents for some sides like corn, and 99 cents for mushroom, egg, and cheese. In my opinion, I don't think its worth it for the extra side that you can put into your dish to mix together.
The dessert its alright. I guess it looked somewhat interesting like a plant pot but the taste was so so....
ox tongue...
duck breast....
dessert tiramisu...

Lucullus Bakery
My gf told me Lucullus Bakery has the best cheese cake, so we went there to get one to try at home. After I tasted it myself, I have to say they have the best cheese cake =)
It tasted so soft and fluffy for the cheese cake part, and the sweetness was just right. The crust at the bottom was very soft and crunchy, and it crumbled very easily which I very like. My gf also told me this is a hot item in the bakery because usually they get sold out very quickly.
We got the whole cheese cake, but if you don't like to get that many or you just want to try a piece or two, you can just get them in pieces...

Only one cent from my target price but it just wouldn't hit....
At the end I ended up with $10....
The entry was the 2nd bar, and my goal was the entrancement zone, and it just won't hit my number.

Health Herb Harmony
This is a big Chinese herbal dessert place. I very like going here because they have lots of room, so I don't have to fight for my seat or wait at the door.
This is a mango pancake. It had lots and lots of cream inside which I guess which made it tasted good because we were actually eating the cream. I think 85% were cream. The mango was sour, and it was kind of a great match with the cream. I have to say it was a nice treat but not worth the money because it costed $6.50 for this.
This 龜苓膏 was alright...
牛筋牛腩 was alright too. There wasn't much 牛筋 in it. The white radish was kind of dry.
Fav Cafe
This is a small HK style cafe. I think it opened couple years ago. The decor is not bad, and they provided a daily fine specials on the wall which is around $20 for each dish. We came here couple weeks ago for lunch but this place was packed, and customers were all standing at the doors, so we went to the next door HK style cafe instead. This time we went for dinner on a weekdays, and the place was quite empty.
We did not try out their fine specials on the wall because we would like to try their normal items on their menu first. The main dish came with soup and a drink. We ordered hot milk tea but it came at the very end after we finished our meal.
A corn soup with bacon and potato. I think its watery but hey we are in a HK style cafe with reasonable price. The soup was pretty good.
The chicken was dark meat and came with skin on. The skin was crispy, and the chicken was juicy. On top was the somewhat sweet side soy sauce. I found this dish was a little bit at the salty side but I guess it was its style.
This dish also on the salty side because of the salty fish as the main ingredient. It also had few pieces of 豬頸肉. Did I taste the lotus leaf smell for the rice? Um...... maybe just very very little for our order...

The market today was kind of weak, and it was down for most of the day. I took a trade from GWPH and the entry was the 5th bar low. The spread for this stock was super huge IMO because it was about 30 cents to 40 cents spread after I entered. Lucky, the trade work out...

Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill
If you booked 7pm for dinner and you came 40 min early, don't expect them to give you a table even the restaurant is half empty for 1 hour. We did that and the waitress at the door told us to come back in 30 min. Its not like the restaurant was full or anything. I guess they just want you to be punctual...
I think this place is okie. It is located inside a mall, which is pretty good because even we came early, we can just walk around and kill some time before our dinner.
I have to say their bread was hot and tasty. I like their pork shoulder because it was very soft and held it shape. Overall, I guess they were alright minus the punctual thing for booking.
